How long does the whole process take?

Most assessments can be completed in 6 hours. The report should be completed within 4-6 weeks after the last testing session. However, if there are multiple family members involved, the time it takes to finalize the reports could take longer as information from each of the evaluations is utilized in each respective report.

What if I don’t like the results?

Dr. Thir cannot guarantee a specific diagnosis or outcome, but you will have a better understanding of yourself and how to move forward. Everything shared should sound like your experience has been heard and captured.

What if there is conflicting information? Example: My family contradicts what I say.

Clients are often worried a contradicting piece of information can totally sway results one way or another. Humans are complex, and this stuff is complicated!

Be assured, you and Dr. Thir are partners on this journey, and she contextualizes everything. This means she takes into account any “masking,” culture, family, bias, and looks at all the pieces as a whole.
